300 Utility Hydraulics

I have a issue with the hydraulics on my 300 International. The hydraulics for the rear remote will lift the impliment, but will not release. I have double acting and it is set in double. I have tried reversing the hoses, no go.the fast hitch is flawless. I am thinking it has to be the controler, and need a rebuild!What are the opinions? If it needs to be rebuilt is this terribly complicated, and any idea of cost! Thanks guys

There is a check valve in the top of the cylinder (IIRC) that could be stuck not allowing it to go down. If it works backwards the same as when hosed correctly it might be the answer. Jim

This same disc works with my 560. Up down no problem.

Make sure the control knob on the valve is not partially turned. They have a roll pin that travels in a sheet metal loop (opposite the handle end) the position is very critical in valve action. I was refering to the Fast hitch cylinder, so I was thinking of a different situation. Jim

I moved this control knob to D and centered it so the tractor was not laboring, pretty sure this is in the correct position. Thanks
