Farmall F 12 Waukesha

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how many Farmall F 12's with the Waukesha engine were produced, and what the average price of one would be.

Thanks

Well,

According to the parts book, serial numbers 526 thru 3035 except for 600-625, were Waukesha engines. When Waukesha engine f-12's were traded in, the IH dealer would replace the front bolster with a heavier design and the engine with the modern IHC overhead engine. So few of the 2484 ones built have survived. As to a price, it depends on if it is stuck, complete, running, free (turns over), etc. as parts for the Waukesha can be tricky to find.

Tractordata.com shows all early F12 were with Waukesha 113 cid engines. Waukesha shipped ~12,000 BD (113 cid) engines to IH along with another 2,500 FCL (113 cid) engines. Some of those engines would have been labeled as IH engines even though they were built by Waukesha. I would think that not all of those engines made it into F12 tractors. The IH engine that was used after the Waukesha was also a 113cid engine.
