IH 684 with Laurin cab

I have a late model 684 with a Laurin cab fitted and I have been trying to find an air filter for the cab without success. The filter is located at the rear of the tractor above the rear window (in the normal place) and measures 28" long, 7.5" wide, and 2.25" deep. It has a metal frame and a metal mesh on the bottom side. There is also a tab on each end that the cab brackets clamp on to hold it in place. I don't see any numbers on it.

These cabs were fairly popular in Canada during the 70-80s so I'm hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction. I also have a couple broken windows but will likely just make drawings of them and get some safety glass cut at a window shop.

The tractor works great so now I'm trying to repair some of the creature comforts like the filter, radio, etc. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

Did you try Fort Equipment or Central Equipment? They sold lots of CIH/MF with aftermarket cabs. One of the parts guys at Central was at JG Parker (CIH) for years.

Otherwise Laurin itself might help http://laurin-inc.com/p/en/home/

I was in to Central as I have found Mr Crossman to be both knowledgeable and helpful when discussing Farmalls and older IH stuff. No luck so far. I have tried contacting Laurin without success. There are lots of these cabs still in use but likely not many people using them worry about the filter when they spend part of the year with the doors removed!

Central Equipment came through for me and the filter is supposed to be a Fleetguard # AF1695. I'm waiting for it to come in but thought I would post the number here in case someone else is looking for one.

Updating an old post in hopes it may help someone else. The part number quoted above was not correct and Laurin Cabs didn't seem able to help but persistence (or maybe it was stubbornness) paid off and a new parts guy at Laurin recently came through with their part # 154 350 000 with a list price of $85.00. This filter has a metal frame and you must reuse the old clips by riveting them to the new filter housing so that the cab mounted brackets can secure it. This old cab is far from air tight but at least now I don't have a 28" X 7" hole in the cab for dust, crap, and snow to come in through!
