Took the pan off my 660 to put on new
gasket and found some green anti-freeze in
there. Took head off and there wasn't any
in the cylinders. Look underneath today
and the cam has anti-freeze dripping off
it in many spots. Where can this coming
from??? Other than a cracked block. . .

it has dry sleeves, no o rings.
you will have to dry it up good and just watch where it is leaking from. It can from inbetween the sleeve and block bore due to a crack. with good lighting and patience you should be able to find it.

Think I found the cylinder that is leaking. Going to remove it tmr and get a better look at block. Is there any fix to this?

I have used green Loctite on a small stress crack in a bore when I installed a new set of sleeves. no problem , but it was not actually leaking. best to find the crack first and go from there. reboring the bore bigger and making a new sleeve might be an option.

Well have some good news. Took the piston out and there was antifreeze in that cylinder. Removed sleeve and no sign of antifreeze or cracks! I should also mention that the water hole in block next to this cylinder was basically close completely up with crud. Maybe that had something to do with it. Now I am thinking head gasket. Also found out that it has M&W pistons! Anyways going to put new rod bearings in and put it back together.

I found a crack in the head of my 400. I tried to repair it myself. I was not successful. I had spent $80 for the new head gasket and did not want to take a chance on wrecking it by removing the head again. I bought a product called K-Seal. It is advertised as being a PERMANENT repair for cracked heads and blocks. I hope it is, but I will not know for sure until I run it for three years or more.
