444 International Gas

My 444 quit running while I was plowing. I thought it was out of gas but it still had half a tank. I discovered it wasn't firing. Neighbor said he had the same problem and it was the coil. I put a new coil on it and it ran for about a week and quit firing again. Dealer said it was probably a bad coil and I put a new one on it again. Put new points and condenser and rotor buttton on it. Ran for about three weeks and has quit firing again. Any ideas as to what is going on would be appreciated!

Dont know if your tractor was 6v or 12v from the
factory. Did you by chance change over to a 12v
battery right before your problems started?

I haven't changed it over but it is 12 volt.

When it quits have you been checking the spark or just assuming that was the problem and working on the ignition? I have a neighbor with a 444 gasser, and he has had a problem for quite a while with the fuel pump not pumping after it ran a while. It finally quit completely and he had to replace the pump.
