final drive

Have a farmall cub have a service manuel but it does not show where to drain or full the final drive or how muck it takes. Do you have to fill both sides where is the drain and full plug I think it takes #80 do not know how much thanks Paul

There is no drain on the final drive. You have to remove the pans and dump them out.

There is a level plug on the inside of each final drive. One near the front, one near the rear. That's where you fill and when it starts running out, stop filling and insert the plug.

I think a quart of gear lube will cover it, but you should have an extra around, or a 2.5 gallon jug, or a 5 gallon pail, anyway.
