Ih comfort cover

(quoted from post at 22:41:45 09/21/14) Looking for good IH comfort cover for H Farmall . Thanks DTK

Heat Houser is a brand name and they may still make them for older tractors.

If you are looking for a heat houser for actual use, period, look up the brand name FEMCO.

If you want a genuine period correct IH Windbreaker good luck. That will be like finding a needle in a haystack.

I thought I was the only one who called them comfort covers. I had a Femco on my JD 2510 and it is vinyl and rips out in no time. That's all they make now. I bought a Heat Houser from Birch a couple months ago. It is supposed to be custom made for my tractor. Yeah right the frame won't begin to fit and they wanted something like a 25% restocking fee if I remember right. It is the heavy canvas though. I'm hoping I can make one usable one out of both of them. So in my opinion they are both junk.

DTK, are you looking for a IHC comfort cover, I do have one it's a red cloth-plastic one, my neighbor bought it new for his 656, Farmall When he traded the 656 in, i happen to be in the store, so i bought it, thinking i would put it on my M but i never did. I looked at it couple of years ago still nice red color, and no mice holes!

Didn't have a tractor with a cab on it till 1974. Still use the H's, M's and 706 for years and years after that. Comfort cover saved my butt many a day.

I plowed lots of days with that 706. With the side panels on it shot that heat back over you. It was almost pleasant. Problem was my face sure got wind chapped.

Where are you located Harry? I may be interested if you still want to sell your windbreaker.
Thanks
