Farmall H Hydraulics

I am looking at buying a Farmall H as a gift for my father. I would like to know how difficult it is and what is involved in adding hydraulic outlets to an H. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If it has a belly pump there will be pipe elbows coming out on
either side of the bellhousing. They can be fitted with quick
couplers if desired. If it does not have a belly pump they are cheap
and plentiful, though it may take a bit of digging to find one close
to your area. They are heavy to ship.

Probably a better question is, what would your dad be trying to run with the hydraulics on this tractor?

Belly pump gives you one-way (pressure up, gravity down) hydraulics to operate one function. Most modern hydraulic implements require two-way hydraulics, so you will need to add a two-way valve to the system on the H.

Thanks for the info. He would probably just be adding a three point hitch, or if I added the two-way valve, he could run the haybine.
