I want to put pressed steel wheels on my M.

I'd like to put pressed steel wheels on
the front end of my 48 M that I'm going to
use for pulling. It's a Narrow Front.
How do I go about doing that?

They make an adaptor hub. I think M&W has them Try here and if you don't get a good answer try the pulling forum.

Go to your local salvage yard and get the complete NF for a 460.It will bolt right on and is about 1" shorter.

How much difference in wt is there between the two fronts?Enough to really matter? As was said,the easiest way would be to get another front.460 through 1256 will fit.Those fronts should be pretty cheap these days,as nobody but 'pullers' want them any more.If you want to get extreme,Miller tire(I think...),others offer a manufactured aluminum pedestal.
