Ih farmall 140tractor

I have a 140 tractor the throttle is pushed to full throttle and the tractor runs like its on low throttle what may be wrong
It worked the last time I used it how can this be

If the linkage falls off it will stay at idle. caseih.com parts diagrams should show the linkage.
if there is a good connection to the governor, and to the carb from the front of the governor lever (across the front of the engine) then it could be a broken spring in the governor. Jim
