Maybe too late of a model for this group, but I"m betting someone out ther knows. Were any of the international 886"s built without a cab. Just a canopy?

Not only 886's but 9 and 10's left the factory with a 4 post rops.

Dad ordered a 986 with rops no cab.

There were a lot of 886s built for Mexico with the 4 post rollover canopy - the deal fell through and our local dealer had 6 lined up in the front row with "cheap" sales prices. They showed up a couple months after my dad bought a 886 with a cab - much to our relief. The "Mexican" 886s were not the only ones built without cabs but they added to the numbers.

I saw a picture add of an 886 and it was listed as canopy but couldn"t tell if it was a really rough cab with glass gone or a canopy. Wasn"t sure if they were made that way. Now I know its possibility. Thanks.

I don't know about the 886's but I really like the way the 786 open stations look. They make the top ten "would like to own" for sure.

Nice tractor to operate but not good to be out in the weather. Rain really raises havoc with the instruments and controls. We sold one and before his estate was auctioned off I had the job of getting all the weather damaged things working. It was advertised as always shedded but I knew better.
