My Grandfather used to have a Farmall H after the war. Read that the east sent all there used tractors to the west as there was massive shortage out here. Its long gone, my Dad wanted to find one & have a use for it. Found one with a mower, it came from Southwest MN. Its a 1948 model that I converted to 12 volts.

After the H, he got a W4. Then that turned into this 1953 SW6, been in this farm yard since 1955. 2 years ago went to RPRU 2012, met CharlieU from this forum. Have installed his 12 volt kits onto these tractors. Its hooked up to my Cockshutt sickle mower that I use on the ditches around the farm land. Picked up early this summer.

I got this W450 for free. Buddy that I used to work with, he said your still in red tractors. Yes I replied, come get it. It died(all it need to start was a coil), then he sold the acreage. I winched it onto the trailer. It used to have a loader. It was junk, put a NH snowblower on it. Its still a work in progress. Have a Graham-Homme cultivator hooked it. There is no rear hyd's on the W450 at the moment, so that's why there is come-along holding the cultivator up.

560D International, has a Robin loader. It was a rust colour, so the loader got the 5 gallon & roller paint job. No idea what the rough cut mower is, other than says made in Italy on the wheels. But it was red at one time in life.

Thanks Kub6040. They aren't really show tractors, there used a bit around the farm yard. Im not body/painter type, just like to have them okay running order.

Tell me more about mounting that snow blower on the W450. How is it driven?

I'm contemplating doing something similar on a much smaller scale.

How well does the snowblower work with the tractor being quite a bit wider? It looks like it might be an issue in deep snow.

nice, how did you get away with no snow. here north of Edmonton it was snowing all morning. pumpkins will be freezing tonight.
