I AM LOOKING AT A FARMALL 856 GASOLINE TRACTOR ,ANYONE KNOW HOW MANY GASOLINE MODELS MADE. THANKS

I looked at tractor data.com and no numbers but
my guess is not very many. I had a diesel along
with a 806 diesel and darn good rugged
tractors. I used to have a 715 combine with the
301 gasser and it burned 5 gallons pretty dang
fast.

Yes I checked tractor data and no break down , did find out John Deere made about 800 gas 4020 side console 69-72 . Being the IH mate to the 4020 likely about the same . Yes at over 5.00 a gallon would expensive to operate

Not many. I search out all 856 I see as I would like to get one.
I've never seen one in person. I'd imagine she won't be fuel
efficient when you put it on the mower conditioner or baler.

I never thought they would have a gas model, a guy rhat farmed 20 miles from me had a MM 900 gas , spent most of the day pumping fuel into it. Ok think I will buy it if its in good condition .
