farmall 200 hydralic pump seal

replaced seal 3months ago. seemed to fix problem of filling
crankcase with oil... but is back now..did not see noticeable grove
on shaft.. .wondering when ordering a new seal a thousanth
smaller i.d. would be tighter in worn area..do you think it would work..... any tips or input
appreciated......dewy

It might fix it, no guarantees.
The issue might be the bushings in the pump. If so there is nt much that is economical to fix it unless you have machine tool access and time. If it builds good operating pressure, I would try the seal, maybe teflon instead of synthetic rubber. Jim
