684 turning radius

I just bought a used 684 with IH loader. As all used tractors, there are some things needing repair. Does anyone have a remedy on increasing the turning radius? It is awful short and takes a wide turn. Thanks

2wd or 4x4?

The straight axle 2wd should cut around good but do not expect it to pivot on one rear tire...

4x4 were from an era that turning radius was not the best...

It is a regular 2 wheel rear drive. I wondered if the front axles were set to narrow or something? It does not have a good turn radius at all. Jerry

Hi Jerry, make sure the diff lock is not stuck on.
Turn steering wheel to left and step hard on left brake and left wheel should slow down or stop but if engine bogs done then diff lock is probably stuck on.

The front wheels should turn almost "flat" against the front axle. If it's set narrow, it might be limited.
