cub final drive

have a 1948 cub that has a final drive that is leaking oil would like to change gaskets and seals do not have a service manual on a cub any information would help are any special tools needed thanks paul

check oil level , make sure that it is not overfull

m No special tools are neded just replace the seals.

You need a hydraulic press to change the axle seal as the bearing is pressed on the axle shaft.

where is it leaking? if it is coming out the drain hole where the brake is, it is probably the transmission not the final.
