560 head gasket

Was working on a 560 gas tonight and was adjusting the valves. Noticed that a couple of the push rods were messed up and had a parts tractor that I could replace them with. When removing the rocker arm, I realized that they were also the head bolts. I should have drained the antifreeze down but did not know at the time. Put everything back together and retorqued the head bolts. I ended up with antifreeze in the oil so I drained the oil. My question is do you think the head gasket will reseal, or do I need to put a new one in before I fill it up with new oil. Thanks

I just did the exact same thing with my 460, found one bent pushrod (why?), realized that I had removed the head bolts, and found out that the gasket was leaking on that side. I ended up having the head rebuilt; but you might get lucky, I think my engine had previously been overheated and compromised the gasket, maybe your 560 can be cured with just a re-torquing. Hugh
