I know of one coming up for sale but don't know anything about them. All I know right now is it has less than 2,000 hours, open station with fwa. My uses for this would be hauling hay and feeding cattle in the winter and maybe spraying. Nothing that I would consider heavy duty work. I have bigger tractors for that. Are they good starting tractors in cold weather? I have electricity to it but since they put up new poles and lines my electricity goes out a lot more often for some reason.

The best. Probably the best 52 PTO hp tractor ever built. I have a 585, I'd buy a 2000 hr 595 if I found one for sale.

Hi, my brother has a 3230 2WD, one generation newer than 595 but same German D-206 Diesel engine. He has 2250 Quick Attach loader on it and uses it to feed round bales all winter. He lives in eastern Ontario Canada were temperatures get below -20F regularly.
He rarely plugs it in and only has to use the ether start assist when it is really cold. He must have well over 5,000 hrs by now and no problems. It has electric T/A switch on the dash.

I have a 695 with a loader on it. Great tractor. Only problems I have had are the T/A solenoid has gone out, The front steering cylinder broke loose. I have close to 4000 hrs on mine. It has good hydraulics for a loader. I used mine to pull a plow with for years and still use it for some tillage work.
