Farmall clutch linkage

Pedal is froze. How do I remove the entire mechanism from the clutch housing? How is the clutch lever (350963R1) affixed to the pedal shaft? Do I split ahead of the tranny or behind the engine to gain access? Any help?
Thanks, CC

What tractor?? Few are the same so not knowing what model hard to help you help your self

Yes you have to split the tractor to remove the clutch linkage due to the fork on the shaft where the throw out bearing is. But a cub is so small 2 guys can man handle the engine with no problem. Had this cub all apart in my shop around 10 years ago to do a throw out bear brakes etc etc

Gene, how is that arm attached to the shaft? Is there a key, the book doesn't show one. Is the cap screw that tightens the arm to the horizontal shaft accessible with a long extension. I suppose these mysteries will be solved when I get it apart but the more I know before I start the better.

Pedal itself rotates on the shaft but the pedal assy has a bolt where you adjust the pedal lash and other end of that shaft has a bracket that bolts to that shaft then the clutch rod goes up to the throw-out assy. Thats why you want to split at the tranny so you can get to that assy. Had one the mouses pee rusted it fast and even rusted the rod going to the throw-out assy was lot of fun but the parts are usually on cub-ebay. Anyhow split at the tranny and that should let you make the repairs. Have any more trouble just holler and we will go from there. I deid remove the whole torque tube to replace whole clutch assy from the pilot bearing back to the pedal assy.m good luck.
