cub oil pan

It was years ago , but I think I just reached back there with a long open end wrench . There is little torque on them , they loosen easily...
 
ACTUALLY...I think I used something out of the ordinary for that. Might have been one of those sockets that is built like a u-joint? It's been a couple years but I just went out and checked my tool box and there IS one of those in there and it does fit the bolts on the oil pan. It is the only one I have and it is brand new. I think that is what I bought it for. It definitely was bought to use on the Cub and 90% sure that is the reason. Give it a try, Sears sells them by the piece.
 
the two bolts you can get with a box wrench the best thing is one of those ratchet ones the center bolt you can get with a open end wrench may need a vise gripe to get it started
