Morning All,
A while back I wrote to ask about ideas on how to get the rusted out rim off my IH 454.
Many of you gave suggestions and I tried most all of them but those buggers were rusted.
Some one suggested pounding them out but they are recessed in making it hard to connect with them.
So At work in was talking to a customer on a related subject and he siad to get a air hammer, as they use them to take the front axle half shaft out of the spindle hubs. So I pb blaster the heck out of the bolts and bought a inexpensive air hammer.
Well it took a while one or two a week but the last contrary bugger let go last night and the tire ia sitting beside the tractor!!!!!!!
