I have had good luck so far with this tractor as now it will move on its own both forward and reverse. I cleaned both servo cylinders and installed new O-rings. Both servos had lots of junk in them that plugged the fixed orifices. Before that I had to clean one orifice in a relief valve.
Now I question the overall strength of the transmission. In low range I cannot stop it with the brakes. According to the book I should be able to stall the engine in high range with SR lever full forward while braking hard. It stops the tractor and doesn"t seem to load the engine very hard.
Considering the dirt I have found elsewhere and the slightly lower than normal servo pressure 375 vs min 390 thinking I need to clean the servo pressure regulator next. Anyone have any other good ideas at this time? Things I should check while its up and running or check next time I open up the transmission?
Thanks for the help so far. Its always nice to have experience to back up what you read in the manuals.
