Running 3 rear wheel per side on an M...how long of bolts?

I'm putting 3 wheel weights per side on the rear
wheels of my M. I plan on using tap bolts. Anyone
know how long the bolts need to be? Thanks

I would just use the factory setup. Your threads will get beat up on the tap bolts and they won't work for when you only have 1 or 2 weights on eventually. It is REALLY hard to keep 3-4 sets of weights tight with only bolt. If you insist on this plan, just use a tape measure. Measure the casting, a weight, and a nut. It is simple math from there.

According to the manual, the first 2 sets of weights should be installed using 4 bolts, long enough to go through the wheel and both sets of weights. Each weight after that is to be installed individually.

I plan to eventually install 4 sets of weights on my M. I have only 2 sets currently installed. I am using 4 pieces of 3/4" ready rod, long enough to accomodate all 4 weights. I'm thinking each bolt is about 11 inches long.
