Ordered a new intake manifold for my 656 gas tractor. Received it today, and discovered that the heat control shaft, valve, counter weight and spring that came with it are NOT assembled to the manifold.
Is brazing good enough to secure the flapper to the shaft? Or does it need to be welded? Does the shaft press fit to the counterweight or does it need to be secured also? Thanks for any advice!
