Thank you for this information. I know nothing about voltmeters and am just a shade tree mechanic, but you explained that in easy terminology that even I can understand,

You're welcome, thanks for the kind words. I think I may have saved a link to the discussion. Myself and Bob M and Jim (The Professor, janicholson) and Bob and others have beat that subject to death but the same old questions keep popping up, I really need to see if I have that thread so we don't have to re invent the wheel each time the same old coil questions are asked.
