hydro reservoir fill question

I have a new to me IH 2404 with belly mount sickle mower -los state mmower tractor. I cannot find a fill port onthe hydro reservoir. I opened a 2 in port on back and oil aout -quickly replaced. should I add an elbow here or find a steep bank?

Very likely that the mower setup is not IH.

Usually, though, there's a vent/fill on the top of the reservoir. Right on the top. Obvious as stink on a skunk.

You saying there's nothing like that?
