need a new carb for the cub

i need a new carb the old ones top finally broke,it came cracked and ive been nursing it since i bought the tractor, there are 3 shown the cub has its original ih carb now, which one is the better one?

thanks, so your saying it would be better to fix the original [ i think] carb than to buy a new one?

Definitely cheaper if you can find someone with the parts.

You can even get new carbs off ebay, last I checked. They're around $300.

There is a young man near Sandusky thaT PARTS OUT CUBS and his prices are reasonable. call 419-503-1133. He works another job but has always returned my calls. Try after 5:00 and you could get him on the line. I would not recommend fixing a broken carb. There are lots of good ones available. Rebuilding them with a kit from Marks Carb does fine. He is also very helpful if you have a problem. I rebuild all my carbs as soon as I get them. Just did a 44 A
