Cub serial number location?

Just brought home a cub farmall. Trying to figure out year but not sure on where to find serial number. Casting numbers seem to be showing it"s a 1948 but it has the four bar grill in tractor so I"m confused and would really like to know so I can put it back right.
 

The serial number is right in plain view on the Serial Number Plate on the front radiator casting right behind where the steering shaft goes in.

Those grills were probably used as a dealer replacement after the old ones were phased out.
 
Thanks for the web page and advice the tag is compley gone so can"t really tell the year for sure but by going off the casting numbers I"m pretty sure it"s a 1968 with parts from a 48 and 51. According to the chart on website an oem"s catalog.
