Adams road grader with Farmall H engine no start problem

So for the last 2 days been working on this thing. Rebuilt the carb, still no start. New plug wires the old ones where a mess. New points due to the fact they where giving intermittent spark. Had it running for maybe 5 minutes after doing the wires and points. Compression is 130-150 on all cylinders. Good suction at carb air intake. Thinking maybe the plugs are bad. Champ D23 which seem way to cool and they are black and sooty looking but never wet with gas. Any ideas of what I maybe missing?? Think plugs should be a whole lot hotter like maybe D-12 or D16 or even better auto lites
Thank

Can not be it is hot wired but yes the switch was in fact bad that is why I hot wired it

6v coil will overheat with 12v battery--- if you used a jumper -did you bypass the ceramic block-- some 12v coils call for a resister

How many time do I have to ask you not to answer my posts I do not answer yours

Ahh yes, but, aren't you the same guy that complains about YT on the other sites because you can't say anything you want, any time you want on YT? eh tu, old?

Have you checked the valve clearances? I had a heck of a time getting my H to start a few years ago and that turned out to be the problem.

Did check them sort of . Did not use a feeler gauge but did check them and found them all to have a tad bit of play at the correct time so know the valves are closing and opening as they should

rich , if the compression is good, and it seems like its getting fuel, i'd kinda be suspect of the wire going thru the distributor housing to the points. that bakelite could be cracked causing a short. or a break or bad connection in wires.

I would also of I did not have a good spark at the plugs but i do have a good spark. Starting to think distributor bushings or bad plugs
