Farmall a carb to air cleaner

I just got a new to me farmall a that is missing the rubber hose from the carb to the air box. Does anyone know the size of it? It's leaking gas out of if which I assume means I need to rebuild the carb because the float is sticking

Try using a tape measure to measure the outer diameter of the breather tube or carb throat. 2 1/4 inches diameter maybe?

The OD of the airhorn on the carb on my "A" is 1-5/8" (measured with an electronic vernier caliper).

It's best to get the correct (gas-resistant) hose, as ordinary radiator hose swells and rots over time, used for this purpose.

Perhaps THIS site sells the hoses (I haven't looked), or, likey some other restoration places do.

I have bought them for an 8N Ford, but I can't recall for sure, who has them for IH's.

Hose is 1 1/2" I.D. and 1 9/16" long 8 ply.

Awesome thank you! Does napa carry the hose style? I figured I could use radiator hose
