Can someone tell me what the white filter is for on my 706. Looks like a small hose comes out of it and it goes to the turbo. Raining so I can get under there to look. And does it get changed with the oil change? its a wix 51052

The M&W turbo kits came with their own filter for the turbocharger.

Aftermarket turbo filter.Change at each oil change.IMHO,they are not needed.My turbo 706 with 11,000 hours has never had that filter.

That filter has a restricter hole in it to limit the amount of oil that can flow to the turbo. If too much oil is pushed into the turbo it can cause it to leak to either the exhaust or the intake side.
