Very nice find, but I don't see how it has sat in the open for 40 years with trees in it, and you have it running within a day or two of you getting it home. That engine had to have been SEIZED!

Really neat photos... I always enjoy rusty stuff. The dragonfly closeup is fantastic.

I think I saw a painted 22-36 at a show this weekend. Will have to look when I get photos out of the camera.

Thanks for posting.

no, it was not seized due to exhaust being covered and it had the engine covered with a big piece of tin. it was sitting in a bush and was lifted out with a crane.

During WW II and Korea the junkies didn't want the bottom of these tractors cause it took so much gas to cut them up. Over in the neighbors fence row was one till the late 60s when I was a kid. Anything they could un bolt was gone but this big "tub" was there.

I LIKE IT!

Wish I had the heavy duty wheels like that for mine.

I"ve heard of the Robin manifolds, but don"r guess I"ve ever seen one before.

Nice find!
