Recently bought a 1968 Farmall 806 Diesel tractor. In searching for information I only see 1963-1967. Serial # 35542, can"t find what I am looking for.
 
Some folks get mixed up on year sold and year produced. tractor could easily be built in 1967 , which yours was, and set at Dealer and not sold until 1968 or later.

Year tractor was produced is the model year not when it was first sold.

Thank you for the information. The tractor was listed as a 1968. Googled the serial #, found nothing. Appreciate the help.
 
'67 is correct.806 was produced from (late)'63to (early)67.Good STRONG tractors. That D361 is considered by many(me included) as the longest lifed engine produced by IH.Congrats on your new tractor.

I got a tractor from western Oklahoma from the county, it has some yellow paint under the red paint, on the tag, the top line says "I806" All other 856's, 806's, 706's in our salvage say
"F" in lieu of "I" example F806
I was wondering if this is something different???

Also picked up a Case VAI with sickle mower on the side.
Our western buyer also picked up a Case SCO.
