I have an older gentleman who is my neighbor. He removed his Generator of his Farmall H and lost track of where the wires go. I see a big wire which I think goes to the BATT terminal on the regulator, NOT sure where to hook the other two wires on the regulator I am not a big time mechanic, but I am hoping to help Sam out. I can trace the wires for continuity to the amp gauge etc. If I have the proper place they go. THANKS in advance for your patience and expertise.
 
I would help, but I never have understood electricity and my owner"s manual would just get us into trouble, also a litle bit of smoke one time. I"d suggest if nobody else helps, get a manual, maybe owner"s or I&T manual. I would not just hook things up and see what happens.

Do a google search for BobM's wiring diagrams. Or if you have access to the owners manual, there is a wiring schematic in there.
 
The largest gauge wire (No 10 Size) goes from the A or Ammeter terminal on the Generator to the GEN terminal on the voltage regulator. The GEN terminal is the one on the side by itself. The smaller gauge wire goes from the F or Field terminal on the generator to the F terminal on the voltage regulator. The BAT terminal wire on the voltage regulator goes to the Ammeter Gauge and the L or Light terminal wire goes to the fuse for the lighting system is so equipped.
