MD Injectors-Another Question

Are these injectors supposed to spray a mist when they open? The one I tested opened at around 600 psi and just shot out a straight stream of fuel. The only other injectors I have tested with this hand pump test device kind of 'broke' open and sprayed a fine mist. They were from a Kubota 4030. I also have tested some from an old GM 5.7 liter diesel.

Is anyone still able to overhaul injectors from an MD?

They should spray a mist like any other injector. Not too hard to find good used injectors.
