1950 H Seat

what would be the right color seat for a 1950 H? I see they sell red and white and silver replacements. I know the early ones used the dark almost black canvas but not sure on later models. Thanks Paul

I have never seen a new tractor with red and white seat all were silver-gray canvas. Darrel Durst can replace your old seat withnew cover like original.

IH did sell the red and white seat as a replacement, but it was never available from the factory. The earlier Hs and Ms used a black canvas, and sometime later they began using the silver canvas. Most of the replacement silver seats today are made of vinyl, but you CAN still get the canvas, and black canvas is also available if you look hard enough.
