I'm looking for the plastic knob that goes between the starter knob & the belt pulley. Seems that only the 1953 SW6 is like this. I have a 1952 SW6, its a metal hoop. Seen couple 1954 SW6, they also have metal hoop for choke. I have only seen 1 other 1953 SW6, it had the plastic knob for the choke & it was very poor shape for being outside.

here is a picture of what I have. it was painted black at one time but it is not plastic . $2.50 plus shipping and its yours.

That looks like the same thing as the choke knob on an MD. Might be another parts source???

Thank you Toymaker, the Choke Knob arrived in the mail today. Very much appreciate you sending me the knob. Here is picture of it mounted on the tractor. Something that has been missing for over 50 years.

Good tip sflem849. Out here H&M tractors were not a common tractor at all. So finding MD would be very difficult to find. Yes, there is few farmall's, but more W6, SW6, etc. Found out the same knob is used on 600 & 650 Diesels.
