Farmall 400 hydraulic valve leak

While waiting on the new manual for the 706 I can jump into the 400 here. The ol Farmall has a leak around the bottom of the valves behind the gas tank. the side panels are off already so I have a few screws to pull the dash off and drain the hydraulic system since the fluid is milky already . I'm having a hard time finding valve rebuild sets. I've looked here and on a few other sites. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Just this winter I replaced the o-rings between the
valve bodies and on the outlets on my 400. I
thought they were leaking but the biggest leak was
the gasket between the valve assembly and the tank.
I hunted high and low but those gaskets are no
longer available. I used black silicone to reseal
mine. I got all the o-rings from the Case/IH dealer
but you can get them from a place that sells seals
and o-rings. You just have to measure them to get
the correct size. Good luck.

I rebuilt my valves a little over 2 years ago. I had to order all the parts individually from the Dealer. I also had a leak that I could not find until I took all the tin off to do transmission work. I found the back plug o-ring leaking on the divider valve. Only problem is you have to remove the fuel tank to replace a 2.00 o-ring.

Thanks fellas. I thought I was losing my mind not finding parts. I should have noted that ol Red is definitely leaking between the valve body and the caap on the bottom side of valve. oil is milky and looks like cottage cheese so I'm thinking I have a few leaks to find and a bunch of o rings to replace. The old Tractor runs great and is a cool mmachine. Ill go get a O ring set and get these leaks done. Thanks for the heads up.

If they still make it, I would even get some gasket material and see if you could make the paper gasket. I still have some that I have not used yet but also have a leak somewhere. I also need to replace my breather on the transmission/PTO. I think that is what my dad called it. He has a 450 LP.
