I have noticed that when moving roundbales with rear spear, when I back into to position and want to shift out of reverse there is a lot of drag on shifter to shift out. Then sometimes if I am in forward gear against a grade there is the resistance again when I want to shift when in a stopped position. I tried adjusting clutch in a little farther but didn't make a difference. any recomendations?

Does your 300 have a TA?

If so, the TA linkages are not adjusted properly. You need to shorten the short link that runs between the clutch arm and the TA arm, so that the TA shifts into low every time you push the clutch pedal.

This lets the TA freewheel so it won't bind up while you're trying to shift.

The adjustment procedure is described in the owner's manual, and there is at least one youtube video on the subject. Very important, because if you don't get it adjusted right, it won't shift for beans.
