Farmall M spindle thrust bearings

Hey guys! Rebuilding the late-style factory WFE on a Farmall M and having some trouble with the spindle thrust bearings. I ordered a spindle kit online that came with 2 bearings, 2 felt washers and the 4 bushings. Trouble is now that I have everything apart, the thrust bearings I got are not right. I got #185106C1 which are a smaller OD than the #357349R91 that I need. I am not having any luck finding any of the larger bearings other than from IH who wants $128 each! Anyone else know another part number or supplier??? Don't want to spend $250 for two bearings if I don't have to! Thanks!

Allan is correct. If the tie rods are behind the axle, it is not factory for an M, but probably is genuine IH. Most likely you need to be looking for thust bearings for a Farmall 450, or maybe even 560.

Yeah maybe I wasn't clear...that's what I meant by
factory late- style. I'm guessing its a 450 front
end as the thrust bearing part numbers are different
on the 560 one in the parts book. Either way I can't
find the #357349R91 bearing anywhere. Would think
someone has them!

Kid if you have a old bearing go to a bearing store and they will cross match it for you. We have a place called bearing service and they can match up just about any bearing you bring in.

The picture shows its a later IH wfa off Super M & newer 400/450. This thrust bearing is the same clear up thru 656/7/8/9/10/12/14 06/66, early 50/ 5488, 815/915 combine, 1420/1666 same, it subs to a slightly smaller bearing but is correct.
