Char lynn power steering o rings

Gents,

Need to replace the o rings in my char Lynn torque genny.
Any info on the size would be great. Here"s a pic of the torque
genny.

(quoted from post at 17:08:06 06/28/14) Where do I get them bob?

Not Bob, but if you are in the Midwest, try B&B Hydraulics, Hutchinson Ks. Owner used to work for Cessna/Eaton and handles Eaton products, which would include Char-Lynn.
If not close, probably anywhere in the country there is a hydraulics repair shop within 100 miles or so of you.

There is an outfit in Lee's Summit MO that has the kit. I have all of the info out in the shed. Trust me, O rings last one week and then puke that fluid all over your hot engine. I put in the square ones (right ones) several years back and the thing hasn't even got any dust on it - no seeping or leaking.

I'm assuming you know how to time the internals?

Eaton bought them out.

You have the ID numbers from the unit.

Use the web, and find and Eaton reseller near you.

Ok guys,

Just to get this straight in my head, I need square o rings and they will last. I did this before, got the kit ordered with square rings and they were too big so I used some close o rings I had and here I am doing it again.

Does anyone have a part number?

Call Midwest Directional Services at (816).796.6400. Tell them you need seal kit SK122. Is it $26.90 - they didn't charge freight as it came in an envelope. It will have extra seals you don't need but it will be obvious which ones are right. They are good folks and fast as well.

I posted before that I didn't think that was correct on the sk122 kit. Well I stand corrected. I ordered 2 kits last time and didn't use because they were bigger than the shaft, but not after installed in the housing.

I stand corrected.

Thanks to all that help
