antifreeze in oil question

Changed the oil in the M last week and found antifreeze in the oil. read some previous posts re this problem and will do the radiator pressure test. A couple of posts mentioned a freeze plug at the front of the engine behind the timing chain cover as a possible source. Does anyone know if the '48 M's had such a freeze plug?

POSSIBLE HEAD GASKET BLOWN. BLOCK CRACKED BETWEEN CYLINDERS JUST ABOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ON NO 2 AND 3 CYL. IF THE BLOCK CRACKED, I HAVE REPAIRED THEM WITH J.B. WELD ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.
