f20 on the dyno

Got a 36 f20. Put it on the dyno and it makes 38 hp. We put 10 tractors on that day. Wd 45 made 44. Unstyled awith bore kit made 34. B Deere was 20. How and what needs to be done to a f20 to run 38. It is way more than it should be

'upping' the compression does a lot for them. more than likely it has 4 inch domes in it. that would get you to that neighborhood

No, the M uses totally different sleeves and pistons.

My 39 with 8000ft hi altitude 3 3/4" pistons turns 38 HP on dyno . Haven't tried out dads old F-20 with the 4" Conformatic pistons yet, but they are the same height as my 8000s are so it should break 40HP. Maybe do that one of these weekends soon.

38 for a '20' doesnt surprise me a bit.My '20' would easily outdo my SuperH.
