Farmall Rims

Need some help. I have a farmall 460D. I need an extra set
of front rims for the tractor. What size are the rims that I need.
The tires on the front are 6.00 x 16. So what size do need.
Also where can I get a set at a decent price. Also next
question - has anyone used the tire guards from Gemplers? I
bought two new tires, tow new tubes and two new front tire
guards. I have had nothing but trouble - flats. The guards are
rubbing holes in the tubes. Why? Had to keep pumping the
tires up to just get the hay up this weekend. Thanks.

when you use the tire liners you are supposed to split the old tube and put it over the new tube to isolate it from the chaffing action of the liner.

If your rims are held on by 6 lug bolts, they are standard implement wheels. 6.00-16 uses a 5x16 wheel if I'm not mistaken.

Define decent price. Your best bet on new ones will be to find the local wheel supplier. Do some shopping around, sometimes you can find a deal at the machinery dealer.

The internet is one place that I have NOT been able to find good deals on wheels. Shipping is the big killer on wheels.

Used ones, your best deals will be found on Craigslist and at farm auctions.

I've got the same model tractor, and I wanted to know if anybody wants to swap a ten inch rear rim for an eleven inch, and barring that, if anybody in the Louisiana/Texas/Arkansas/OK/MS area has an eleven inch rim they'd like to sell. Email is open, Thanks, Hugh.
