adding rear remotes to 300u

Hay season is fast approaching and my haying partner just bought a disc mower. That's the good news. Bad news is none of our tractors have rear remote hydraulics to run the pick up cylinder. My 300 has a block and then the valve for three point towards the rear of reservoir. Can I pick up pressure from one of the tapped and plugged ports that are towards the front of the reservoir? If not, what is the way to do this? Can run mower with out remotes but it will make it more difficult.

You need a remote the plate comes off the side of hydraulic block a bolt another one on like from farmall 300 or something close .

IIRC there should be another place to mount a factory valve in front of the 3pt valve there on the right side of the seat base.

This diagram shows the seat base hydraulic system:

You should have the rear stack of valves for the 3pt/fast hitch, and the front stack should just be a cover.

What you need is a factory valve to install. You just need the valve and some sort of handle. Standard "O-ring" type fittings can be threaded directly into the valves, so you can just run conventional hoses instead of having to find the factory lines.
