H steering shaft removal.

I have to remove my H radiator for repair. A fan blade broke off and damaged it. I'm new to farmall tractors and have no experience with them so I need specific instructions. I'd also appreciate information on possible fan sources and even a water pump. The water pump may the the source of the whole problem but I know I'll have to get the radiator repaired. Can I possibly rebuild the water pump myself?

There is a cap on the bolster right in front of the steering rod. Undo the linkage under the hood ,in front of the throttle and after removing this cap on the bolster you "screw" the steering rod out,pull it off and you can remove the rad.

Yes, it is very simple once you do it. I just took mine out to fix radiator. Be sure to check the bearing in the end that comes out. Mine was shot.
