I'm a great truck fan, and if I found that near me, I'd be hauling it home. It does not look beyond salvage, just a lot of work. Thirsty, more than likely, but one could manage that with just local use.

Kub, your comment about no air brings back memories of the days of my youth riding with dad in our 49 KB1. I don't think there was anywhere in Iowa that was hotter than the cab of that pickup in mid-summer. Wish I had that pickup today. Jim

That would make a beauty. Mine is not quite as old, but I bought it last fall sitting in a field and have worked on it all winter and spring. All it needs is the rear fenders. First tractor pull is saturday.

I didn't want to make it sound like a bad truck ,I
just thought it might be hard to get your wife to go
riding in it the second time.

whaddya mean no A/C? I thought that little lever under the dash and that tiny hood louver was the A/C???

What are you guys talking about???? I personally have a lot of knowledge about these trucks and I know for a fact that they have a system called "2-40 AC"

2 windows open at 40 mph... :) Bryce
