SMTA WEIGHT

Can anyone give me the weight of a SMTA with factory wide front , 14.9 rears , fenders but no wheel weights. Obviously I don't expect an exact figure.

Bud, SM-TA F.O.B Factory is listed at 5456 pounds. However that is with tricycle front and 12-38 rear tires . So wide front adds several pounds and 14.9 tires over 12" rears also would add several pounds. Fenders would also add a few pounds.

Keep in mind fluid in those 14.9 tires would add a lot of weight !

So without fluid and the added bigger tires, fenders, and wide front I would guess you would approach 6000 pounds.

Mine with nf, fenders, 14.9 and 4 weights per side is 7200 lbs.

Ah that is DRY weight , My S/MTA weighs in at over 6250 with narrow ft. NO belt pulley NO fenders and NO extra weights . BUT i do have 16.9x38"s on the back with 16 inch rims. Now if them 14.9x38"s have Juice in them that"s a whole new ball game so it is possible that that S/MTA could top out over 8000.

Mine with 16.9-38"s and narrow front weights 6500 pounds, it has fenders, belt pulley, and tool box. With 5 sets of weights and 22 suit case weights it puts me 11,000 for our local tractor pull.
