Have no oil coming through suction filter,ready to pull filter but won't move, whats the secert?
When hydraulics were working,the rockshaft would go up and stay up no matter wewe levers were set until engine shut down,put a load on it worked like it should,any ideas?
S/N is 33850, any idea on year of tractor?

Hi can you rotate the suction line? There is only an O-ring keeping the suction filter locked in. But after 50 years the O-ring could be rusted in place.

Re 3pt going up, I would suspect leaking control valve or something wrong with draft control circuit. There is a plunger by 3pt top link housing at rear of hydraulic housing. The plunger should move in and out with the draft control lever.
If this plunger is not functioning then the draft control mechanism inside the hydraulic housing is not functioning.

Thanks,the o ring was holding it from turning,able to tap end of tube and got some movement then put vise gripes in end of tube and tapped it out, filter was completely plugged,wll get into the linkage problem after retorquing head to try to stop over heating issue,no thermostate in it,new rad core, and complete engine rebuild for leaking head gasket and low oil pressure.
