Wondering if anyone has one or experience with one.
Wondering if HP is near same as diesel being diesel is a 361 & L.P. is 301.
Any discussion on this appreciated.

I have a customer who has one and I have done a fair amount of work on it. It runs good, starts good, looks neat with the big tank. A diesel will take it to the shed!

Tony, I am Green with envy! Guy told me You got that Old Darlin @ Anson, Tx. I personally put eyes on Her 2 weeks ago and from all outward looks. Pretty Honest, old 806 LP. Real short on rubber, but they hold air and will work for now! Seat and seat torsions too.
* 2 welds, 1 on front pivot tube,RH. top. and a U shape rod around the vertical part of Knee, just under steering arm. IMO nothing to get twisted about. I was seriously looking at her, but just not in a position to gather her up.
She really looks to be to be an great find, Enjoy, When May I borrow Her? LOL!
OK,, IMO Here in this country any LP was interchangeable with its Dsl counterpart with Little to No noticeable HP difference in the day to day operation on most any Farm or Ranch.
that is across the board IH to JD which were the main 2 tractors used in my areas,,,,,
IE....SM, 400/450, 460/560, 706/806, 756
JD....620/720, 630/730, 4010/4020
Most of the time the LP version were considered "Right At" the same HP as its Gas, Dsl counterpart. Just pick your favorite fuel!
in spite of what the brochure said!!
Hope this helps, Holler at me some time, My # is (512) 577-3837.

We had only lpg tractors from converted F30's all the way up to the 806. We stopped having good luck with them when the six cylinders came out, the 460lp was a classic lemon and the 560 was not much better, it was to replace the 450lp but it never really could. We bought both the diesel and lp 806 tractors, the lp was a sweetheart, 15.5 X 38's with duals, narrow front and clamshell fenders. Beautiful sound when you pulled that throttle down. When it comes to brute power, fuel economy and especially reliability, not buying two diesels was a HUGE MISTAKE. It was okay for planting, cultivating, and running the silage blower but other than that the diesel was just head-and-shoulders above it.

Thanks ,Fellas, for opinions helpful.
I have just bought a 806 l.p. to restore will be a while till trucker brings it to me but I'll post when It arrives.
